There are many rare and special plants

Because of its proximity to the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, there are many rare and special plants in Türkenschanzpark, for example ornamental trees from China, Japan and North America. Many trees are named.

You can also enjoy rare plants at Türkenschanzpark, for example mountain ocean rings. These are the alpine flowers that are mainly used in homeopathy and bloom from April to May.
    Various water systems

There is a total of approximately 6,500 square meters of water, including "Bergsee", "Waldteich", "Kurpark-Teich" or a landscape of flood plains near "Lehrteich".

In addition to natural waters, there are 8 drinking fountains and a decorative fountain, and the Yunus-Emre fountain, in Türkenschanzpark. This is located on the corner of Feistmantelstraße and Dänenstraße. It was delivered in 1991 by the then Turkish ambassador as a sign of friendship between Vienna and Turkey.
