One of the several city parks
In the park there is a memorial to the Oscar Kalpax and Rinis, the Orthodox Birth Cathedral, the Latvia National Museum of Art and the Latvia Academy of Art. The current greenery in the park dates back to 1950 as a semi-regular walking park.
