The funds for the park were provided by the national tourism organization
"Österreich Werbung Deutschland" created an Austrian park landscape - with an alpine rock garden, an avenue of Styrian apple-nut trees, a flower meadow and a red-white-red rose garden. The old park benches were replaced by Salzburger Almbänke. Danube beds were set up and a telescope mounted, through which the Tyrolean Alps can be seen.
