Big district park with play and stay possibilities for all age groups
On the site of a former freight yard with a total area of 9,700 m2, the new park was realized in two construction stages. In the first construction phase, a "neighborhood garden" was designed between "Schulzenstraße" and "Am Kläperberg" street, where children can play and adults can sit and clap. In a second construction phase, the park was extended to the "Weidendamm". In addition to a football pitch there are open lawns to play and shady and sunny seats. A noise barrier separates the park from the Weidendamm. Many trees give it a green frame.
