Also called the College College or Kolleggarten

The garden property number 36 was acquired in 1859 by the College Society, in which since 1781 originally only members of the trading stand in sociable round came together to create with the least effort and hours of joy and recreation. It was rented as a summer resort for the members of gardens, most recently the garden Platner on the Bucher Street, which eventually acquired the company in 1859. In 1907/08, the old house that had become too small was replaced by a spacious new building.

On March 1, 1941, the city of Nuremberg bought the college from the college. In the college building, a hospital was set up, the western part of the garden served as a hospital garden and the eastern half as a public park. In the 1950s, the college society dissolved, the college building fell victim to the demolition. The college garden was transformed in its entirety into a public park.
