    La Redoute is built in Bad Godesberg as a dance floor.

    The elector of Cologne was Max Franz on Draitschbrunnen, which he had taken in 1789. A year later, he began building a stronghold, he must serve. Linking a picturesque tree-plane alley with a stronghold, which still provides an elegant environment for receptions, balls and concerts. The former classic garden house now houses the "Redüttchen" restaurant.

    Construction of the park began in 1820. The Gardner Konrad Wilhelm Nelle (1813-1902) was created in 1856 for the new owner of the camp, Viktor Wendelstadt, the park in the English garden style.

As with the electoral parks in central Bonn, the landscape of the former free valleys and Siebengebirgspanorama has also been included in the concept in Redoutenpark.
