Adorns a monument to Duke Adolph von Nassau

In unison with the villa district, the open space between the Wiesbadener Allee - now Biebricher Allee - and the Volkerstraße arose around the monument to Adolph of Nassau. The eponymous composer Richard Wagner, who worked in the then independent city of Biebrich, had once planned for the city's own site, the former sand pit, the construction of a festival hall.
