Since the beginning of 2001, the "Local Agenda" in Mainz has been enriched by a working group: a number of Mainz citizens with a wide range of careers and expertise have decided to promote green spaces in the state capital. Until now, there have been working groups "Transport", "Consumption", "South and North" and "Health and Nutrition".
According to the basic idea of the local program, the work of the new working group should be concrete. It should be open to all interested and fun. No endless dry sessions, but very practical project processing, the working group has developed.
Project Group "Natural Landscape Garden"
For example, the project group "Naturnaher Schaugarten" created a semi-natural display plant in a convenient location in the city, where interested people can get ideas for their own garden: persuasion and motivation through practical intuition.
In addition, there are always smaller projects: sometimes it is necessary to work to preserve the natural green of the dizziness, and sometimes the builder of the larger building must be convinced of the benefits of the green facade. Also public relations, for example the presence on the agenda day in Mainz is one of the smaller tasks facing members of the workgroup.
