The Dr. Ferdinand David Park is a spacious park, which is covered with tall deciduous trees. It therefore offers an excellent overview. The paths are safe and complete in the middle of the park. At this point you will also find seating. There is enough shade to stay longer in the sunshine. The playground makes a good impression, and since it is moderately crowded, it also has a normal volume level. If you go 100 meters to the east, you will find a water feature with two pools. The low water level and the proximity to the river make it a suitable refreshment for hot days. Whether splashing in the cool water or just wetting your feet, this hidden place offers an oasis for everyone. You can also picnic or enjoy the view of the Volme River. Depending on the season and water level, the barrage, directly on the playground, creates a pleasant background noise. No food? In the Dr.-Ferdinand-David-Park is the bistro Mundial or you can use the bridge located in 200 meters to cross over the Volme and thus to another district of Hagen.
