Lake and a place of entertainment in Kassel

Just a few minutes from the city center, the large natural reserve in Fuldaaue stretches with Lake Buga. The extensive landscape makes you forget that you are in the city center. For those looking for sport and relaxation they offer a variety of opportunities.

Admission is free, and the beach can be reached free of charge at all times. The area around Lake Buga is a popular destination for the entire region. In the summer, have a fun shower in the foreground. In addition to the sandy beaches, which are especially suitable for families with children, there is a separate nude area on the southwestern coast.

If you do not want to swim, use the spacious area for jogging, fishing, windsurfing, sailing, mountain biking, table tennis or football matches. If you just want to relax, you can relax with a good book and stroll under the old trees. Barbecue outside the beach area is allowed just outside the first road.

For a snack between them, you'll find the "Sailor's Restaurant" or the right display booth for sure. The beach bar is open only in the summer, attracts the younger audience and opens until late on weekends.

For children, there is an adventure and water court with climbing equipment, cable car, tennis and table tennis. Trees provide shade and a nearby toilet. A playground where older children can enjoy.

Even in autumn and winter, or in bad weather, you can walk on Lake Buga. The waterbirds then captured the lake and can be seen in large numbers. In autumn, the area is fantastic for kites.
