    Urban forests in Oldenburg

The century appeared as the city's forests. It should be noted that they must serve as timber suppliers. Erstforforstung was made from the Great Citizen's shrub from 1724 to 1774 with pine and fir, silver spines, piers and birch by sowing. As Volkswagen Park was later reshuffled by city counselor Jean Robert Charton (1881-1963). This led to the development of a wide network of tracks. Ornamental trees have been planted along the tracks and there are meadows and other play areas. In 1947, Große Bürgerbusch was placed under landscape protection as "Volkspark am Scheideweg", as well as its small representative, known as "Volkspark an der Alexanderstraße".

    Popular Running Track and Park
The large Bürgerbusch in the north of the city became a meeting place for many enthusiasts to run. Here is a luminous path a kilometer long. The joints of the runners are spared the so-called Finn, where the ground is placed with wood chips. If you wish, you can also walk from the fitness path on the Bürgerbusch trails. Young visitors can enjoy themselves in a beautiful playground.

The Kleine Bürgerbusch can be seen from the large Bürgerbusch via the Bürgerbuschweg - located in the Alexanderstraße just before the air base. Many hiking trails also offer the opportunity to relax on a walk.

    The Bürgerbuschs thinning is great
At the end of 2012, the Big Civic Center was launched. The last large stock paper was completed in 1995 by a forestry company in collaboration with Weser-Ems Forestry Office. After 20 years of development, forest actions are now underway. This mitigation focuses on maintaining existing ones.
