The classical garden sculptures come from the workshop of the court sculptor Johann Peter Wagner
The plant of the garden was - like the Residenzbau itself - limited by the existing baroque city wall. Even Balthasar Neumann had the idea to include this bastion in the garden design and to this day invites you to walk with a wonderful view of the garden, castle and parts of the city. To this high fortification wall lead symmetrically two framing ramp and staircases up, halfway up a terrace was inserted.
