Two playgrounds at the northern and southern entrance (Neckarhalde and Kolpingstraße) and a water playground for young and old children; halfpipe is available for skiers. There is also a mini golf course. The Kneipp facility offers refreshments in the summer. Use the exhibition grounds at a time other than the Bull players event.
Wertwiesenpark is a famous place for barbecues in warm temperatures. This is permitted in the Meadow area on Neckaruferweg.
A particularly impressive picture is the permanent shrub, a large shrub area of more than 13,000 plants, almost year round. It is equally worth noting the garden with a smell and herbal garden as well as a rose garden. Due to its proximity to the city center Wertwiesenpark is very popular. On a small bridge up to the other side of Neckaraltarm and easily reached by foot or by bike Frankenstadion and Theresienwiese festivals square.
