Open-plan landscaped area with Roman channels and a museum

The Tor Fiscale park in Rome is located between the third and fourth miles of Roman Via Latina and forms part of Appian Way's regional park. Aqueduct is located in Rome and is dominated by a 30 meter high tower called the park. Many canals have crossed the area and their remains are still visible.

    Channels
There are six Roman channels crossed the garden area, including Aqua Claudia, Aqua Marcea and Aqua Anio Novos. Much of the Marcia Aqua was demolished to make way for Aqua Felix, which was built in the Middle Ages. Aqua Claudia has been almost completely dismantled over the centuries to provide building materials for new homes.

    Military History
The garden area and the appian way can be used to control both Latina and Appian Way. This was first done by the Ostrogoths during the siege of Rome (537-38) in the early years of the Gothic War (535-554). It is closed in front of the flow of supplies to the city via Via Appia and Via Latina. The flow of water into the city by cutting channels. After that, the area took the name Barbaricus campus. Its strategic significance means that it continued to be used by invading armies. For example, in 1084, the forces of Robert Joyce, who wished to help Pope Gregory VII in his struggle with the Roman Emperor Henry IV, set up their camp in this area.

The square tower is made of beech, with a few rows of bricks, and small rectangular windows. On the west side there is a small, depressed arch, probably built of the weight of the wall above the foundations of the canals. The tower was originally surrounded by a terrace, whose remains could be seen until the middle of the 20th century. Family, owned by Anibaldi family. The taxpayer's name for the tower is not as a tax collection function, as a member of the tomb of Kecilia Mittila on the Abyan road.
