Villa Durazzo-Pallavicini is a villa with a 19th-century English-style garden and a small botanical garden. The villa now houses the Museo di Archeologia Ligure, located in Via Pallavicini, 13, directly next to the railway station in Pegli, a suburb of Genoa, Italy. The garden and botanical garden are open daily.

Villa Paolo Monti was photographed in 1963
The estate began in the late 17th century by Calleia Dorazo Grimaldi, who created Giardino Botanico Calleia Dorazo Grimaldi at the time. A wonderful garden was created today by her nephew Ignazio Alessandro Pallavicini after he inherited the property.

Designed by Michelle Kanzio, designed for the Carlo Felice Theater Group, it was built between 1840 and 1846. It covers about 97,000 square meters of hills behind the villa. Although recognized in the romantic English style, the park is so dramatic that it is organized as a series of scenes that form a play with an introduction and three works (back to nature, memory and purification). Structures and statues through the garden form a focal point for this libretto.

When the park was opened in September 1846, on the occasion of the eighth Congress of the Congress of the Italian Dignity Cinzati, it gained international fame quickly. In 1928, its current owner, Matilde Giustiani, donated both the park and the botanical garden of Genoa to be used as a public park. During the remainder of the 20th century, the park fell into disarray and was already threatened in 1972 by building a nearby highway. It began restoration in 1991, in honor of Columbus' discovery of America. As of 2006, nearly half of the park is open to visitors.
