    History
At least since the end of the 17th century, there has been the name of St. Antonio Park, owned by the families of de Beaumont, mainly made up of orchards of citrus and other fruit trees, near Mar Piccolo, where the family owns mussel farms and oysters. In 1832, through their last descendants, de Beaumont joined the noble family of Bonélise Barletta, mainly for the bride, the region became a holiday residence with representative functions. On this occasion handrails, stairs, and sometimes only the minimalist in the gardens were provided. In the first decades of the twentieth century, the site moved to the municipality of Taranto, which wanted to build the municipality building. Additional seats and columns and the bust of Leonardo da Vinci were set up from a ship sank in Mar Piccolo during the First World War. The following year, the La Pineta theater was created outdoors, then turned into a cinema and still has a theater function.
