Advantages
The park seems to be equipped with many sports equipment and recreational activities. Inside, there are some elements of particular importance: (A, in the map) Vascone: A large semi-complete underground tank used to collect spring water in the mountainous hills used to irrigate the basic botanical gardens. The basin is an extension of the third circle of the walls of the city (I Etruscan and II medieval), which was not completed in 1400. Brief History
The park, which began in the 1970s, occupies the valley where the Sant'Anna trench, which is now being released, forms part of this system of steep valleys, the so-called "gorge", which in the form of green wedges they rush near the historic city : Polagayo, Santa Margherita, St. Anna and Cuba. The availability of water in the trench favored the agricultural use of the area, which led to its destruction especially for vegetable crops in coordination with olives and fruit plants.
Cultural aspects
Among the most common types of trees are willow, poplar, pine, maple, cypress, Dutch oak and horse chestnut; among bushes, broom, forsythia, laurel, hibiscus, cherry laurel and hawthorn.
