The park is a place for the heart of Fai

In 1922, the then Minister of Public Education launched a project to establish in each city a street or memorial park to remember and honor the victims of World War I. The care of pupils and plants should have been entrusted to the maintenance of the spiritual relationship between the living and the dead in the motherland.
538 trees were planted, each dedicated to the fall of La Spezia and a painting bearing the name, degree, date and place of death of each plant. The names are written on metal spears stuck in the ground next to each single tree. During World War II, at the moment of need, "went home", spears were transported and donated to the homeland and replaced with small panels mounted on trees. It is still being launched at the deferred gate to reduce the PARK area. Over the years, the weather was bad, and the growth of trees meant that the indicators disappeared. At the top of the hill placed a flagpole (still exists) in which the huge tricolor towers (now absent).
Project and garden design for the painter Felice del Santo. Agricultural engineer Alfredo Bartolozi.
