Magnificent trees and lush greenery in the middle of the city
The park was completed in the mid-1850s and modelled on the English park style. Kungsparken us a unique cultural and historical park, very few European cities have been able to preserve a green belt on the crumbling ramparts in this way.
Kungsparken boasts some of the city's most magnificent trees. The park’s location in the city centre and its contact with the water makes it a popular place to picnic in, sunbathe or socialize in.
