A popular meeting place
Residenstorget is probably one of Karlstad's most visited parks. Under the crowns of the trees, visitors can eat their lunch, enjoy an ice cream or stretch out in the fresh grass for a moment's rest. Residenstorget is a meeting place where old and young meet in the center for a moment of socializing - all together with Hertig Karl, Christian Eriksson's sculpture, which is right next door. Large forest maples create the park's spaciousness and elongated flowerbeds its splendor.
