The outdoor stage in the form of an amphitheater became immensely popular
The park is located in a hilly, partly very dramatic landscape, adjacent to a contested part of Bäveån. The park is dominated by rolling grassy areas under mighty hanging birches and a huge blood book. In the middle of the park is a memorial stone over the Royal Bohuslän Regiment 1661-1961 remains. When I17 was closed down in 1992, Regementsparken transitioned to the management of a friend association. Through the association, the park has been supplemented with a museum, which tells Bohuslän's defense history.
