It is one of the green parks in Odense
But its distinctive nature. The park has a multi-faceted function that can be used as a clear green area, a garden for inspiration for garden lovers and as a place to teach kindergarten and schools.
Teacher Arne Emdel started the garden in 1948. Originally the park was called the School Botanical Garden and was owned by the Odense School Agency. Here botany and plants delivered studies can be studied. Later, the park was moved to the garden department of Odense municipality.
The garden contains many interesting trees and shrubs. A Danish species, for example. Twigs, twigs and beeches. Exotic species, such as spruce, are Chinese water, lime, and chestnut.
