  Beautiful open garden for picnics

  The 16 hectare park includes a bicycle lane, a convenient trail, a small amphitheater for 250 people, a well-equipped children's playground and a bird-watching position in Ria Formosa. Faro recently managed to obtain a small plot of land needed to connect the park to the road leading to Montenegro and Faro International Airport. At the same time, the boardwalk becomes part of Ecovia Litoral do Algarve with access to the beach in Ilha de Faro. This bicycle path runs 237 km along the entire Algarve south coast from Cabo de Sao Vicente near Sagres to Villa Real de Santo Antonio on Rio Guadiana.
