  The name of the hill indicates the presence of a scaffold in the Middle Ages.

  At the end of the nineteenth century, it began to serve as a military training ground and was used for this purpose after the Second World War. The trenches are still visible on hillsides. In the years 1966-1973, tens of thousands of trees were planted in this still grassy area, roads, asphalt and benches were built. Gradually, he grew up here in the middle of a city park with an area of ​​about 70 hectares. Šibenk Park was created here in connection with the construction of the new city as a central park for prefabricated apartment buildings that have been growing since the late 1960s.
  
  In the 1980s, two children's playgrounds were built in the park (a small train with a sandpit in the northeast and concrete climbing tires in the south), both of which were already severely damaged. Another stadium was created in the late 1980s, and its icon became a wooden elephant. Even this session was destroyed today. In 2006, a fenced ski park was built in the southwestern part of the park and had a dirt track for extreme cyclists with a total length of about 200 meters with five obstacles. The surface of the track is sand and mud. Meanwhile, recent adjustments have been made in the garden, such as creating new seats and paved cycle paths that complement the original asphalt roads.
