It offers grass open space ideal for casual walks
Further to the north of the park is a standalone basketball hoop which is ideal for pickup basketball. The half-court flanks an adjacent childrens' playground with swings and slides galore. Right at the north of the recreation ground are four outdoor tennis courts, all with hard surfaces. These four public tennis courts are completely free to use and cannot be booked unless for coaching purposes, in which case you must book. It is simply a matter of turning up and playing. There is a carpark available for up to 40 cars which is situated right next door to the tennis courts.
