Their grasslands are grown only twice a year

The meadows are spread over gentle hills in the Sinai Park from the Escherheimer Landstraße to the east. Founded in 1890 Sinai Nursery moved to this area until 1978. When the next street of Walter Leiske Street was built, from 1983 to 1986, there was a new park of 4.6 hectares for residents. The fences and shrubs separate the park from the street, adjacent schools, custom gardens and sports facilities. Small trees are still standing around the attractive meadows. Three attractive playgrounds are the garden and the basketball court. Jogging ran and walked their tours on winding paths.

In the south-eastern part of the park there are natural lawns. Their grasslands are grown only twice a year, so wild plants can develop better and find butterflies and insects in habitats. Because at this point the park goes to the Sinai Wilderness Reserve.

There are only narrow lanes passing through this deserted pit of trees, shrubs and blackberry hedges - the Eldorado of many wild plants and animals. You can observe 16 kinds of breeding birds. Wild and fluffy rabbits live here. The Sinai desert has been designated as the natural habitat of the city and part of the green belt and greenery area of Frankfurt am Main. Their grasslands are cultivated only twice a year
