Memorial park in Fredericia
The memorial was built by DSB and staff organizations in honor of the railway people who died in service from 1847 to the present day. The factory contains more than 800 names who have died since 1900 onwards, all carved in polished stones in curved chains. There is also a smaller memorial plaque of seven unnamed railroads who died in an accident in Hanstedt on December 26, 1876.
In front of the factory is a large monument with the emblem of the State Railroad at the top and on both sides of the stone are two smaller memorial stones. In the southern suburbs of the Grove Monument, a memorial wall was erected for state railway officials who lost their lives during the resistance struggle.
