    Amazing botanical garden

Like clouds to another world - plant respiration where the senses spoil. Parade House is a very special oasis that takes you on a journey among exotic plants to the sounds of running water and soothing music. The story of Parade House begins at the World Expo in London in 1851, when the impressive greenhouse "Crystal Palace" sent a wave of inspiration across Europe.

Christian Konrad Konrad Sophos Danneskiold-Samsøe took over as General Manager at Gisselfeld in 1869. His wife was from England, and he won his heart for flowers and plants. Built in 1876 with inspiration in beautiful and unique English landscape style - Parade House - after drawing by architect Herholdt.

Today, Parade House is rented by park designer Steg Loritsen. Known from "Have Gardens" on TV2 and landscape architect Greg Kobett. She works at Parade House as a space for sensory experiences with a focus on historical and exotic plants. Parade House also has a small shop selling flowers and crafts for beekeepers
