A popular place for residents to rest
Utena is perhaps the only city in Lithuania to have two lakes - Dauniškis and Vyžuonaitis - located between the streets and houses. The scenic Dauniškis Lake Park with its fountain is a popular spot for residents and residents of Utena to relax. There is a children's playground on the shore of Lake Dauniškis. In 2011, Utena celebrated its 750th anniversary. On the occasion of this celebration, Lake Dauniškis is decorated with a bright fountain and plays with a water screen.
