A park in Aix-en-Provence
It was at the time of the construction of the estate that the municipality of Aix decided to preserve this land as public space for its extraordinary view of the Sainte-Victoire mountain. Cezanne often came to paint in this environment during the last part of his life. The Painters' Field was set up on a belvedere, facing Sainte-Victoire Mountain and its light games.
